Mugen Gakuen Uniform

Unless you've been living under a rock, you have Sailor Moon coming out of your ears so I won't waste time talking about where this outfit comes from. Originally, this was meant to be Kaioh Michiru, but because the aqua wig I bought looked aw-ful on me, it became just a generic uniform. ^_^

Now, I had said I wouldn't do a Mugen Gakuen seifuku because I'd never find lime green fabric with navy blue plaid stripes... But pinch my cheek and call me Sally, I did! ^_^ That's what always happens when I say something will never happen. I love being able to manipulate the universe so easily.... But of course, as we all know, I'll never win a big jackpot in the lottery.

The fabric I found was a nice light-weight corduroy. And it was on sale, tee-hee! For the blouse and collar, I bought some cotton broadcloth in maroon and black. I never did find a black star appliqué, so I took a black fabric marker to a white one.

I also discovered a neato notion for making pleated skirts. It's called a Perfect Pleater and is available from Clotilde. It's this little canvas and cloth contraption that looks like window blinds. You tuck the fabric in between the slats and press for even knife pleats you don't have to struggle near as much with. ^_^ The one for skirts is expensive, but worth it.

The water is beautiful.
Dreaming of...?
No one to push. Shoot!
Are you coming along?
It's Haruka's car!
Just... being.
Okay, so I was going for a Michiru-esque feel. ;-p
Holding up the column.
Henshin yo, ne?
The victim... It's Elza Grey.
Why yes, as a matter of fact I did sculpt this fountain.
Never walk through grass in your sock feet.
No Haruka, I don't need you to model nude.
Looking stoned...
Visualize the violin, folks! You can do it.
