Costuming is my shepherd; I shall always sew.
It maketh me lie down to mark hemlines,
And keepeth me from lying down when I have projects to finish.
It leadeth me away from still waters,
And it taketh me to Cons and Wars and Guild Events and Tournaments,
Where silks and velvets restoreth my soul.
It leadeth me on the path to museums and book stores for authenticity's sake.
Yea though I walk through the valley of brocade and moire,
I will fear no remnant table;
For my credit card is with me.
My Bernina and my Baby Lock, they comfort me.
My friends preparest the banquet table before me to accommodate my hoops and panniers.
I burneth the midnight oil;
My fabric bins they runneth over.
Surely creativity and friendship shall follow me all the days of costuming,
And I shall dwell in a house with lots of closet space forever.
