| Tasuki's Tessen - I started out hoping to craft this one myself for extra credit in a class, but ended up letting professionals do it. And a good thing, too!
The fan part is thin aluminum I purchased from the hardware store. I took this to a metal shop with a paper mock-up of what I wanted and they did the rest. The square handle is a length of pipe with the "fan" bolted into it. Once completed, I wrapped it myself with athletic tape to give the proper look and supply a grip.
Tasuki's Necklaces - Estimated cost to reproduce: $35 USD - Can you tell who my favorite FY character is, yet? ;) Hand knotted strands of glass beads with gold-plated findings. For the medallion in the middle I chose to use a brass replica of an ancient Chinese coin, to reflect the Chinese setting and influences in the animation.
Chichiri's Rosary Beads - Animé version - Estimated cost to reproduce: $25 USD - Hand-painted wooden beads with purchased tassels, knotted on cord.
